Farewell my friend (@CA) and the source for Success and Happiness

Glad you got here!

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed to spend the last 15 years or so with YOU and it’s an opportunity for both of us to say some parting words, hoping we will have the pleasure of working again together, this way or another. You can click the Video here to listen to “What a Wonderful World”, by Louis Armstrong, as you read through the rest of my farewell…

Let me start with a story first.

My Dad was someone I admired and looked up to. He was always taking care of the people he lead, assisting everyone who asked for help and playing with me and my sister, every time he got back home from work, no matter how tired he was. He did not praise my achievements too much, as he himself, was a humble guy. On his death-bed, few weeks before he passed away, he told me how much he was proud of what I built: Family, Friends, Profession, Contribution and more. This was one of the saddest days in my life, but also a very special day of achievement, that I carry with me wherever I go.

I am sharing it with you, because the message I want to convey to you is that the essence of success and happiness boils down to one question:

Are you proud of what you have done so far?

If you look into your heart, and ask this question, you will quickly see if you are on the right track to success and happiness. You will also know if you need to change what’s going on. When I go through this drill I try to be grateful for the opportunity to grow and contribute, no matter what I find there.

I am grateful for the opportunity that I had, to work with you, and to work together at CA, a company that has so much to offer to anyone who is willing to contribute and grow. I have spent the best years of my life with you, at CA, and that has built the platform from professional, leadership and personal prospectives, for my next journey, “Into the Cloud”.

I am leaving CA to join the #1 company in Israel, eMind,  the leader in Amazon, Google and other Cloud based deployments for a growing number of successful startups as well as established corporations. Got lots of work and challenges, and I promise to share my insights as I always do, through my blog here and on the Social platform.

I would love to mention here names of the people I am thankful for, but frankly the list would be too long 🙂 I do want to say that the CTE (Council for Technical Excellence) and everyone in the team have been immensely supportive and I am so thankful for that.

You are more than welcome to post your thoughts here!

Yours, Truly,

Jack Bezalel.
